And with both Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi! That’s the rumor. The Hollywood Reporter has come out and said that both Tobey and Sam are very close to a deal with Sony Pictures to create two more Spider-Man movies. The movies will hopefully start filming in 2009 and will be filmed back to back. Writer Jamie Vanderbuilt who penned the “Zodiac” screenplay has been tapped to write. And don’t worry, the Venom movie is still moving forward. Writer Jacob Estes wrote a draft of the script while recently Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese were brought on to revise.
So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they close these deals and we get to see some more Spidey action soon. With all of the Marvel Studios movies coming in 2010 and 2011, we could be seeing a ton of comic book movies in those 2 years. I just hope that they don’t all suck.

I love the Spiderman movies they are just so full of action, Science-fiction, romance and comedy. Tobey Maguire is really a great actor for the Spiderman movies and he did so in last three movies. I want Tobey to continue his role as Peter Parker. Kirsten Dunst should also come because she performed the role as Mary Jane and should continue it. So she should come back. I think that if they were in the movie from the start they should be in it till the end. See what did Harry Potter movies. Daniel Radcliff has performed all the parts and continuing and that was a movie made in sequentially. I think if you can replace the actors, it won’t be Spiderman 4, it will be an entirely separate thing, and I think it will not be sequentially. I know Tobey fits really well. I thanked Tobey for his coming back. I want other actors who acted in the previous movies (Spiderman 1, 2, 3). I am saying for Carnage and Lizard as villain in Spiderman 4. And Venom should come back in Spiderman 5. I hope it will be a very great movie. So it may be late, releasing in 2011. Spiderman is my favorite movies; I always support to love it. I’m waiting to see next Spiderman movies…
