That’s right, before we even have a full cast completely locked down for part 4, which is set for release on May 6, 2011, we have a writer for both Spider-Man 5 and 6. James Vanderbilt has been tapped to pen both scripts. Vanderbilt was also the guy that wrote the initial draft of the script for Spider-Man 4, but it was then re-written and edited a couple times by different writers. And unlike the previous Spider-Man movies it sounds like parts 5 and 6 will have interconnected storylines which may be kind of cool.

Focus on spidy 4…it could be a disaster and they might have to quit and try something else…

Totally agree Chris, I mean it really cant be a disaster just look at number 3 thet had him DANCING and people still liked it , but I do think they should find out what people like most about 4 before they worry about 5 and 6

That’s great! But I think it won’t work without Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst. After all the first 3 inspired us all with the romance and Kirsten’s great looks and crooked teeth. Maybe the new writer can create a new spiderwoman character, with Kirsten of course. She’s the only one, I think, that can play this role. Mary Jane Watson can bite my neck and leave her love venom any time she wants!
