If the rumors over at The Hollywood Reporter are to be believed, Sally Field is in early negotiations to play the role of Aunt May in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot while Martin Sheen is in talks to play Uncle Ben. Based on acting experience alone this seems to be a great choice if you ask me. Both actors are incredible at what they do and could be exactly what this reboot needs. Sure, Emma Stone is attached to play Gwen Stacy, but not too many people know of Andrew Garfield who will be playing Spider-Man (you may recognize him as Eduardo from The Social Network).
Hopefully they can reboot this series and bring it back to what we loved about the first one and hiring these talented actors sounds like a good start to me.

WOW…Happy to know that Martin Sheen will be casted as the Uncle…Hopefully the reboot version lives upto our expectations!!
