Based on acting experience alone this seems to be a great choice if you ask me. Both actors are incredible at what they do and could be exactly what this reboot needs. Sure, Emma Stone is attached to play Gwen Stacy, but not too many people know of Andrew Garfield who will be playing Spider-Man (you may recognize him as Eduardo from The Social Network).

Hopefully they can reboot this series and bring it back to what we loved about the first one and hiring these talented actors sounds like a good start to me.

Believe what you will, but we could possibly be seeing John Malkovich and Anne Hathaway in the latest installment in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man series. At this point though everything is just hearsay and rumors so I wouldn’t get your hopes up, but what would you think if these rumors were true?
